Statement on fuel surcharge (01/12/2008)

British Airways World Cargo has announced a reduction to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be GBP0.48 / USD0.70 / EUR0.70, with effect from 15 December 2008.

This reduction follows a continued fall in the price of fuel. The new rates are displayed on our fuel surcharge index, a tool designed to provide customers with more information about the calculation of fuel surcharges. It is updated on a weekly basis and posted on this website.

Adam Carson, senior manager revenue management, said: "We are reducing the fuel surcharge following further declines in fuel prices."
