Statement on fuel surcharge (09/02/2009)

British Airways World Cargo has announced a reduction to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be GBP0.37 / USD0.55 / EUR0.55, with effect from 23 February 2009.

The new rates are displayed on BA World Cargo's fuel surcharge index, a tool designed to provide customers with more information about the calculation of fuel surcharges. It is updated every week and posted on this website.

Gareth Sinclair, head of revenue management, said: "As a result of further decreases in fuel prices we are reducing the fuel surcharge, in line with our index."
